Front-End Developer/Designer
Alex Tosney is recruiting for an Front-End Developer/Designer to join a start-up research organisation looking to lead the development and adoption of decentralised web technologies and framework. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fully funded start-up organisation in a permanent position to drive the development of blockchain technology.
The main purpose of the role will be to work closely with the communications team, development partners, and our senior designer to implement the interfaces and experiences for a wide range of products and brands.
Other duties will include to:
- Design and implement wire frames across multiple websites and brands.
- Update and maintain different websites with the most precise and helpful information possible for users and in keeping with the company mission.
- Help develop design standards aligned with the company visual identity across web, social media, print and events as part of a tight knit team.
- Produce infographics and animations that capture the potential, power and personality of Polkadot.
- Maintain design harmony and quality across our online and digital properties.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Expert in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Expert user of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch and Microsoft PowerPoint / Google Slides / Apple Keynote.
- Experience with GIFs and animations.
- Excellent understanding of both print and web design, along with social media.
- Experience in managing projects as well as diverse stakeholders.
