Pharmaceutical Technologist
QLS are recruiting for a Pharmaceutical Technologist to join an important project with an innovative Pharmaceutical Company at their site based in Fribourg on a contract basis for one year with option of an extension.
Main responsibilities:
- Set-up of quality target product profiles
- Define and justify product specifications
- Plan manufacturing process development studies in the context of assigned projects
- Supervise the trials in the pharmaceutical lab where appropriate
- Evaluation and documentation of manufacturing process study results
- Coordination of the pharmaceutical and related analytical activities
- Quality by design (QbD) approach is used in development projects and product support projects where appropriate· Establishment and definition of the design space if applicable
- Compilation of risk analysis for validation activities, raw materials, and processes
- Compilation of validation plans and reports, if applicable within the project
- Collaboration with other departments and other sites as needed to assure good progress of the projects
- Support for the compilation of manufacturing documents for manufacturing processes and for stability plans in context of the attributed projects
- Supportfor the compilation of technical documentation for the submission of new products or variations to the authorities
- Regular information to the superior on project progress and issues
- Maintains his work in inspection readiness level and providesthe necessary support in any internal or external audit in addition to providing input to and review regulatory documentation
- Resource and budget planning for transfers / product support projects
- Proactively identify and propose process and technology improvements
Candidate’s Requirements:
- M.Sc. in pharmaceutical sciences or scientist with PhD in pharmaceutical technology with min. . 5 - 10 years of practical experience
- Experience in collateral people management and project management
- Experience in product transfers / product support projects
- Fluent in French, both in oral and written
- Professional level in English, both in oral and written communications
- Good level of German, both in oral and written, is a plus
