Quality Engineer - Le Locle
Alex Tosney is recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a company in the Medical Device industry at their site based in Le Locle on a contract basis until the end of the year.
The main purpose of the role will be to review third party documentation and designs against specifications and quality requirements.
Further responsibilities will include:
- Conduct PFMEA / DFMEA.
- Root cause investigation / analysis.
- CAPA generation, implementation and management.
- Blueprint review including GD&T.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- A university degree or similar qualification. A Master's Degree would be an advantage.
- Experience with Blueprint reading/literacy including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
- Familiarity with inspection methods and techniques.
- Knowledge of the QSR, Design Controls, and ISO quality requirements.
- Mechanical product knowledge is preferred. Problem solving techniques including 8D, root cause analysis and cause and effect analysis.
Fluent English and French are essential for this vacancy.
