Senior BI Engineer (SAP) - Solothurn
Alex Tosney is recruiting for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join a medical device company at their site based in Solothurn on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company developing their next generation of products.
The Role: The primary purpose of this position is to support and further develop company wide analytics and reporting systems for the SAP BI strategy.
Further responsibilities will include:- Assistance in setting up, supporting and further developing a company-wide Analytics & Reporting system landscape and formulating the SAP BI strategy.
- Conception, planning and realization (data extraction, data modeling) of new SAP BI reporting solutions from SAP ERP, SAP CRM and non-SAP environments.
- Further development of CRM HANA native reporting and mixed scenarios with BW/4HANA.
- Assistance in the definition, planning and organization of the release strategy of the various SAP tools and development tools as well as the evaluation of new technologies.
- Responsibility in ensuring the operation of the BI (BO/HANA/BW/4HANA/SLT) platform.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- A completed computer science degree or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in the design and implementation of solutions based on SAP BW on HANA or BW/4HANA and Data Provisioning Tools (SLT/EIM/ODP).
- Very good knowledge of the Business Objects system architecture and its frontend tools (Lumira, Analysis Office, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports).
- Very good knowledge SAP HANA (Native Developments).
- Knowledge of SAP HANA SQL Script programming.
- Good knowledge of SAP CRM and SAP ERP.
- Knowledge of SAP BPC for BW / 4HANA and SAP Cloud products is an advantage.
- Independent and structured way of working.
- Fluent German and good English skills.
