Senior Health Safety Environment Manager - Haegend
Jocelyn Blackham is recruiting for a Senior Health Safety Environment Manager to join a company in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry at their site based in Haegendorf on a contract basis until the end of the year, with a possibility of extension.
The main purpose of the role will be to:
- Ensure compliance of the environmental management system and compliance with international laws and regulations
- Play a key role in motivating HSE management and employees as well the recruitment of the team
- Develop organizational HSE proposals to Plant Manager
- Ensure HSE training as specified and periodically check the effectiveness of the training
- Create the HSE annual report for approval to the management
- Ensure compliance and regular reviewal of the international laws and regulations
- Take responsibility for budgeting HSE
- Ensure HSE processes according to ISO 14001 standard
Further responsibilities will include:
- The implementation of improvement projects that are dictated by management's strategy
- Advising and issuing recommendations on the procurement of machinery, equipment and buildings relating to spec.
- Ensuring management information in the event of major environmental and safety impactsIn order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- A relevant qualification with previous experience within a Health & Safety role
Experience beneficial as a paramedic, firefighter, HSE employee Personal characteristics
Strong leadership skills
- Fluent German skills are essential and strong English skills are desirable
