Senior Scientist
Jocelyn Blackham is recruiting for a Senior Scientist to join a global CRO supporting almost 1000 companies with their analytical needs. This role will be based at our clients site in Visp on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of the role will beto
- Representation of the QC in interdisciplinary project teams
- Independent supervision of studies and projects with responsibility for their success
- Writing of SOPs, protocols and reports
- Interpretation and presentation of data
- Scientifically based solving of complex problems
- Conducting investigations and troubleshooting in the laboratory
- Identify and implement improvements and new technical solutions
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to havethe following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Degree (Bachelor, Master or PhD) in biology, biochemistry or a comparable subject
- First relevant work experience
- Experience in protein analysis (UV, HPLC, ELISA, cell based assay, etc.)
- Experience in the GMP area
- Ideally experience with IT / OT systems for quality control, such as LIMS, Empower, etc.
- Secure communication in German and English
- High motivation, resilience, flexibility and reliability
- High level of commitment and enthusiasm
