CK QLS is recruiting for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist for a leading globally pharmaceutical company based is Luzern.

This role brings together supply chain, quality and manufacturing to ensure materials are qualified, compliant and available on time for clinical production. You will work closely with suppliers and teams across Quality, Technical Transfer, Procurement and Manufacturing.

Your responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain supply chain records within the supplier qualification system.
  • Assess supplier and site-initiated material changes, driving quality change controls where required.
  • Support supplier qualification activities, including requesting audits for new suppliers.
  • Develop strong supplier relationships and collaborate with internal teams on material identification and supplier selection.
  • Prepare material specifications and ensure materials meet the required quality grades for clinical manufacturing.
  • Coordinate material release schedules and ensure purchase orders are placed in line with lead times and production requirements.
  • Support investigations, change controls and quality risk assessments to resolve supply chain compliance issues.
  • Contribute to a standardised material platform and develop proposals for quality and process improvements.
  • Ensure material planning supports production schedules and safety, quality and cost objectives.
Your background:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline, or at least three years’ relevant academic or industry experience.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical quality operations, compliance, supply chain or manufacturing operations.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with a team-focused approach.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to deliver small projects within agreed timelines.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel; SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
