Job of the week: Human Factors Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Factors Engineer to join a global healthcare company at their site based in Zuchwil. The position is offered on a contract basis for 6 months with a strong possibility of extension.

  • The main purpose of this role is to support front-end ethnographic activities, including observational research and in-context interviews, and consolidate observations into meaningful insights.
  • Plan and coordinate usability studies at various stages of product development from early prototypes through formal human factors validation/summative usability testing. Activities may include writing and executing test protocols, moderating studies, designing study models, recruiting participants, and preparing other study documentation (e.g., informed consent forms, recruitment screeners, moderator’s guides).
  • Ensure compliance to internal usability procedure and latest Human Factors standards and guidance.
