Advanced Laboratory Technician in Basel
Jasmin Baumgartner is recruiting for an Advanced Laboratory Technician to join an international company provides high-grade dyes and chemicals to the textile and related industries at their site based in Basel on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of the role will be to:
- Carry out technical screening work on dyes from synthesis research.
- Take on the responsibility for application results for patent protection and update the digital database accordingly.
- Bring together illustrative reports enabling decision making through the innovation process.
Further responsibilities will include:
- Evaluation of competition products and create comparative data.
- Securing full quality management within the laboratories.
- Ensuring that all activities are in line with Environment, Health and Safety principles and International Trade Compliance.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician or University degree in textiles, chemistry/chemical engineering.
- Understanding within the chemical industry, preferably with the focus on textile dye application.
- Professional experience in screening, application or industrial processing knowledge is an asset.
- Effective oral and written German skills and fluency in English.
