Associate Scientist LC-MS Protein Analytics - Aargau
Jasmin Baumgartner is recruiting for an Associate Scientist to join a global contract research company at their site based in Basel on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of the role will be to:
Process projects and orders in the context of analytical customer orders in the field of protein HPLC/UPLC-UV-MS.
Perform method developments, characterizations and comparability studies.
Develop routine analyses (stability studies and release analyses).
Further responsibilities will include:
Performing of biological sample preparations including proteolytic digestions after reduction, alkylation and Deglycosylation.
Quantitative and qualitative analysis with high resolution LC-MS systems.
Documentation of activities, archiving and completion of all tasks essential to maintain the laboratory.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Applied university degree (Bachelor or Master) in chemistry, bio chemistry or similar, ideally with some years of experience in the field described.
Previous experience in the field of HPLC/UPLC-UV and/or MS (proteins and peptides) is advantageous.
Very good knowledge both spoken and written of German and English.
