Lab Technician QC/Development Chromatography Lab
QLS are recruiting for a Lab Technician in QC/Development Chromatography to join a Global Biopharmaceutical company based in Lucerne on a contract basis for one year.
The Biologics Analytical Department provides support to the manufacturing sites of the company by performing release and stability testing of clinical batches and acting as the interface between method development and validation. We are establishing and validating methods for testing of biologics drug substances and drug products adhering to regulatory GMP requirements.
Main areas of responsibility include:
- Establishing and running chromatography methods for release & stability testing of Biologics.
- Performing laboratory work according to cGMPs and apply gooddocumentation practices.
- Performing method validations and transfers to other laboratories and CROs.
- Providing feedback on and improving test methods.
- Write technical protocols, reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Biological Sciences,.
- Laboratory Technician EFZ.
- Analytical testing with HPLC/UPLC: Size Exclusion, Ion Exchange, Reverse Phase, MS.
- Knowledge of relevant CDS (Empower).
- Creating linear and non-linear standard curves and using quality control samples.
- Precise pipetting of small volumes and preparing large number of sample dilutions.
- Robust knowledge of protein biochemistry and protein characterization techniques.• Analytical method validation and GMP working experience is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and German.
- Strong team player, demonstrating mutual respect.
