Packaging Engineer - Le Locle
Jocelyn Blackham is recruiting for a Packaging Engineer to join a company in the Medical Device industry at their site based in Le Locle in the Canton of Neuchatel on a contract basis until the end of the year, with a possibility of extension.
The main purpose of the role will be to:
- Provide technical expertise in the areas of design, development, testing and production scale-up of new packaging component and systems.
- Enhance and validate package components and packaging processes.
- Develop package testing plans and interpret results as required for various projects.
- Provide troubleshooting in the resolution of packaging related issues in manufacturing and the field.
- Participate in process improvement or task teams.
Further responsibilities will include:
- Participating and advising in decisions involving equipment, package design, cost saving and source reduction.
- Carrying out work orders of new package development projects.
- Determining and coordinating physical testing to ensure product and package integrity for manufacturing through end users.
- Building technical competencies in packaging materials and processes used in all manufacturing processes.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- BSc in a relevant discipline, or equivalent
- Proficiency in project management
- Proficiency in project validation
- Ensure compliance FDA, MDD regulations
- Fluency in French and English is essential
