Product Owner/ Business Analyst
QLS are recruiting for a Product Owner/ Business Analyst to join a Global Biopharmaceutical company based in Zurich on a 12 months contract.
Key duties include:
- Act as a connection between the business and IT, having a view of both the high-level vision of product transformation and the low-level details of development.
- Continuously liaise with users and the Decision Excellence & Execution team and the Enterprise Programs team to shape and refine Epic development in line with evolving needs.
- Act as a bridge between multiple stakeholders in the business and IT, offering insights into high-level product transformation and detailed development.
- Input to the prioritization of backlog to ensure efficient development across a multi-quarter roadmap and contribute to long-term planning efforts.
- Play a crucial role in establishing new cross-product work methodologies
- Strengthen relationships with IT, fostering alignment and identifying opportunities for better collaboration and shared goals.
- Attend product story and sprint demos to verify alignment with requirements.
- Engage in feature development, including requirements gathering and stress testing and UAT.
- Provide support for ad hoc and post-release issues, contributing to problem-solving
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, particularly the Pricing & Tender Innovation Center of Excellence (P&TICoE), to ensure requirements are realized.
- Assist in navigating the development process,overseeing IT activities from a business perspective to maintain alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate on additional projects and provide input as needed to contribute effectively to various initiatives across the organization.
Your qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with a track record of successfully bridging the gap between business and IT in a dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of product development, from high-level vision to detailed implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, training sessions, or collaborative sessions to facilitate discussions, gather insights, and drive consensus among cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and clarification, with the ability to translate business needs into technical language.
- Excellent project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.
- Attentive to detail, with a record of meticulously reviewing and analyzing complex data
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both business and IT stakeholders.
- Leadership abilities and the capability to guide the development process
- Proficiency in analytics and data analysis software, such as Power BI, Qlik or similar tools
- Collaboration skill and the ability to work cross functionally, within a matrix organization
- Fluency in English
