CK QLS are recruiting for an Analytical Chemist / Lab Technician Scientist to join a global pharmaceutical organisation on a 12-month contract basis. This position will be based in Switzerland within a QC Bioanalytical Laboratory supporting biologics testing activities in a GMP regulated environment.

The successful candidate will support release, stability, and characterization testing of biological drug substances, as well as method validation, troubleshooting, and laboratory equipment qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing of biologics for release, stability, and characterization in accordance with GMP / GDP requirements.
  • Support analytical method validation, transfer, and qualification activities.
  • Troubleshoot analytical methods and laboratory procedures.
  • Prepare technical protocols, reports, and GMP documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records using electronic laboratory notebooks.
  • Support equipment maintenance, calibration, and qualification activities.
  • Perform raw material, in-process, and finished product testing.
  • Ensure compliance with internal safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory methods and processes.
Required Experience

  • Hands-on experience with biochemical analytical techniques.
  • Experience with antibodies, binding assays, cell-based assays, or PCR.
  • Experience with HPLC / UPLC, capillary electrophoresis, or other large molecule analytical techniques.
  • Previous experience working in a GMP laboratory.
  • Experience with spectroscopy, PAT, or biopharmaceutical processes would be advantageous.
Qualifications

  • Laboratory technician qualification or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
  • Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment.
  • Fluent English required; German is advantageous.
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
