We have an exciting opportunity for an Development Engineer to join an international healthcare company at their site based in the canton of Basel. The position is offered on a contract basis until the end of 2019 with a strong possibility of an extension.
The ideal candidate for this role will have sound experience in the product development of Medical Devices and be fluent in German.
- One of the main functions is to participate in new product development project teams comprised of interdisciplinary members who work closely with surgeons, sales and market development managers.
- Collaborate with the technical engineering office, generate product models, concept layouts, complete testing requirements and use CAD software.
- Be responsible for the design and development of instruments, as well as improvements and modifications of existing products.
